About Raccoon Creek
Pam and Jed Horovitz planted four acres of Merlot grapes in the Outer Coastal Plain Wine region near Mullica Hill.
Next came the winery and test vinegar made from their first harvest. After receiving kudos from family and various foodie friends, they began offering bottles of vinegar for sale.
Today Old Sourpuss has expanded to multiple varieties, and multiple locations.
“I tried all their delicious vinegars. Wonderful crisp taste from the strawberry atop my fresh green garden salad. I used the red wine vinegar to bring out the bacon/ onion flavors in my Grandmother's German potato salad. Try all three flavors, you won't be disappointed! Thank you Raccoon Creek!"

The Sweet and Sour Lowdown
“What should we call our vinegar?
“Hmm. We can’t just keep calling it “our vinegar”.
“How about “Old Sourpuss?”
“Yeah! After our grumpy old vinegar maker!”
“Hey! I resemble that remark!”
And thus the name was born.
Old Sourpuss is Jed, the very talented master vinegar maker at Raccoon Creek Vineyard.
